deltaComm Development, Inc. is a software developer and pioneer in the online industry with many years experience in giving over a million people their first online experiences using our flagship product, Telix.

We were founded by Jeffrey L. Woods as part of a buyout of Canadian company Exis, Inc. in 1992, though Mr. Woods was an employee of Exis for years prior to that.

Our flagship product was one of the first telecommunications products for the mass market, the award-winning Telix for Windows. The Telix product line was introduced in 1986 and remains one of the most popular and successful shareware programs ever released, with over a quarter of a million registered copies in circulation, plus inclusion in John Dvorak's popular book Guide to PC Telecommunications.

In 1996, deltaComm Internet Services emerged as a high-quality Internet Service Provider to complement the Telix product line and to provide high-quality, high speed Internet access and WWW hosting services to callers from the Triangle area and beyond. In 2000, DCIS was sold to Portbridge Internet Services.

In 1997, deltaComm Internet Services introduced the first Internet House Call program, where users signing up for Internet services would be visited by a trained and friendly installer to ensure all software was properly set up, and that the user knew the basics of how to use the Internet and to make sense of it all.

Homegrown from its days as a basement-based single programmer in 1986 to its current staff, deltaComm Development is a group of highly trained, professional people who believe that they're getting paid to have fun on the Internet, and to help you do so, too.

In 2001, deltaComm Development's founder continues to sell and support the last revisions of Telix, though demand for the product has forced a closure of phone lines.
